What mistakes could I have made?
A new day, a new week,
There are enough mistakes I have made over the years.
However, I’ve recently realized that this isn’t the right way to think about mistakes.
Because mistakes are not only the foolish things that we do, but also the reasonable things that we don’t do.
As the saying goes, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
This is why sins of omission can be just as damaging as making bad choices.
Most dreams die because we don’t want to get out of our comfort zone or are too afraid to try or fear failure and thus commit ourselves to average.
The world is full of talented people who couldn’t commit themselves to their dreams or didn’t try hard enough. Beware the sin of omission and stay blessed forever.
