People influence you every day.
Do they inspire you or sap your energy?
Do they serve as positive role models or negative influences?
Do they want what’s best for you, or are they out for themselves?
You probably know those who serve as positive or negative influences in your life.
“Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most all, surround yourself with those who see greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.”
There is an old proverb which says, “Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are?”
This proverb suggests that like minds stick together. If I know who your friends are, I know what your character is.
“If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl but if you associate with eagles you will learn how to soar to great heights.”
Iron turns into rust, if it seeks the company of the soil.
It glows, softens, & takes on useful shapes, if it enjoys the company of fire.
Dust can fly, if it seeks the company of the wind,it ends up as slime in a pit if it chooses water.
A shark in a fish tank will grow 8 inches, but in the ocean it will grow to 8 feet or more.
The shark will never outgrow its environment and the same is true about you.
You can fly or walk, rise or fall, it all depends on the company that you choose to keep.
