Today, we enter the *Fifth & final day of the festival of Diwali* the occasion of *Bhai Dooj,* which reflects honour, faith, respect & love of a sister.

The teeka symbolizes firmness, honor, brilliance, respect and faith of a sister.

Through Bhai Dooj Teeka, the sister wishes health, and longevity and well being of her brothers.

The unbroken rice grains added to the teeka represent steadfastness and firmness of the brain and also a symbol of peace.

The basic idea of applying teeka by the sister is to pray to the Lord to protect her Brother from the evil effects existing in this world and from its binding cords.

On the final day of the *Festival of Lights*, as we conclude the festivities,

I can only look back and say,

Thank you God for blessing me much more than I deserve,

Thank you God for the  festivities and blessing me with such wonderful family And friends with whom I could share and enjoy the occasion.

May God bless us with more reasons and occasions to celebrate and may everyone stay blessed forever.
