Optimists Creed
For almost Forty years now, in times of stress and strain, when something has me backed against the wall and I’m ready to do something really stupid with my anger – a kind face appears in my mind & asks:

“Problem or inconvenience?”

I think of this as the Test of Reality.
Do your reality test every time you face any challenging issue.

Life is lumpy and a lump in the oatmeal, a lump in the throat and a lump in the breast are not the same.
Learn to differentiate between a problem and an inconvenience and make life easy for yourself, make things work brilliantly for yourself every day.

99% of what you will think as problems won’t even be real problems anyway, just situations your mind would make into some big and unnecessary drama.
So, remember to relax. Do not live in your head so much.

Whenever you face any downturn, as you invariably will in your life journey, you will learn that, ‘It’s darkest before dawn, every Sunset is followed by a bright Sunrise,
Every thunderstorm leads to a colourful rainbow’
and just remember the wonderful words of Kahlil Gibran,
*“In every Winter’s Heart lies a quivering spring. Behind the veil of each night waits a
smiling dawn”*

This weekend, Whenever you feel down or have a gloomy thought,
Adopt The Optimist’s Creed and Stay Blessed Forever!
