“Pher aa gayi Bhangre dee Vari,

Lohri manaun dee karo taiyari,

Agg de kol saare aao.

Sundariye Mundariya jor naal gao!!

Lohri is celebrated across India in various forms & different names, but the essence remains the same. It is a symbol of fertility & Thanksgiving to Agni, the Fire God.

Lohri is all about Giving, sharing & Celebrations.

It is the festival of love, bonhomie, harvest & much more.

As a young kid, I remember going from door to door along with a group of friends and asking for ‘Lohri’

At that time, I Did not know the reason why I was asking for it but people who were celebrating life more than others, gave more than others.

I understood that those who are happy because of a recent marriage in the family or a new born at home were welcoming us more & giving more.

Today we have so many reasons to celebrate Lohri & be thankful for all the blessings & wonderful family & friends God has given us to share with.

This Lohri, as you light the holy fire to celebrate this wonderful festival,

Burn the unwanted desire before it turns into greed,

Burn the unwanted worries before it turns into fear,

Burn the unwanted misunderstanding before it turns into hate,

Burn the unwanted conflicts before it turns into enmity,

Burn the unwanted pride before it turns into ego,

Burn the unwanted fear before it turns into Paranoia,

Burn the unwanted thoughts before it turns into negativity,

Burn the unwanted habits before it turns into addiction,

Burn the unwanted expenses before it turns into debts,

Keep burning the unwanted to brighten your life.

Let us celebrate it as a day of spreading love and by forgetting all past differences and forgiving all grievances.

May this Lohri bring opportunities your way, to explore every joy of life, turning all your dreams into reality and all your efforts into great achievements.

May this harvest season brings you prosperity and help you to fly high like a kite.

From our home and family to yours,

Wish you and your family a very Happy Lohri!

Stay blessed forever.
