A farmer had a dog who used to sit by the roadside waiting for vehicles to come.
As soon as one came he would run, barking and trying to overtake it.
One day a neighbor asked “Do you think your dog is ever going to catch a car?”
The farmer replied, “That is not what bothers me. What bothers me is what would he do if he ever caught one.”
We often behave like that dog who is pursuing meaningless goals.
Life is simple indeed…We make it complex by running after what never gives us joy.
If you never define what success means to you, you’ll never find contentment.
If you’re not completely clear about what brings you joy, you’ll never find success, You’ll just be chasing something that, in the end, really doesn’t matter.
Success is meaningless if you can’t measure when, where & how you’ll feel fulfilled.
Stop pursuing and stop going after meaningless goals, continue to enjoy and appreciate the small prizes.
Enjoy the weekend & stay blessed forever.
