A young man was very troubled with the way everyone treated him.

He was trobled by every insult, harsh word, or unfair moment and took it to his heart. Over time, life felt terrible and he was engulfed with negativity.

He went to a wise monk for a solution.

The monk handed him a few stones and asked him to carry. At first they seemed light, but soon his hands began to ache. He complained about his aching hands.

“The stones don’t hurt you,” the monk said. “Carrying them does. The solution is to drop them.”

The young man realized that he had been choosing to carry every hurt like a stone.

From then on, whenever someone tried to hand him a “stone,” he paused and simply declined to carry it. His heart grew lighter, his mind clearer and life became easier.

Each night, he practiced letting go: imagining a heavy moment as a stone, saying, “This stone is not mine. I release it,” and placing it down in his mind.

And he learned a simple truth: ‘You don’t find peace when the world stops throwing stones.
You find peace when you stop picking them up.’

Stop picking every stone life throws at you & stay blessed forever.
