You tell people to be kind, and the most common reply is, “What difference will my small act of kindness make in this cruel & unkind world?”
Iam reminded of the famous William Penn quote”
“I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again.”
The toughest people I know, have one thing in common, they are kind.
The pain in their life does not turn into giving pain back to the world and that true strength.
The world loves kind people because kindness is intentional, when someone goes out of their way to do something nice for someone else & make them feel better and make the world more beautiful.
Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness,
Every act creates a ripple with no logical end. You never know when a small random act of kindness might change someone’s life.
This Sunday, let’s pledge to be kind, to do random acts of kindness, to do our bit to make the world slightly better.
Follow the advice of Dalai Lama, who said, “Be kind whenever possible & it is always possible”
At the end of each day, ask yourself, have you been kind today & stay blessed forever.
