What does self-care mean to you?
Do you make your personal well being a priority by doing something for your body, heart, mind, and spirit?
Do you think that self-care is about pampering or selfishness?
Can you see that like any machine or car, regular check ups and maintenance is vital?
In our fast-paced societies, we are often conditioned to ignore the signs of
exhaustion from an early age, neglecting the need for rest, setting healthy boundaries, and
replenishing our inner resources.
Many of us tend to overlook self-care until we reach a
breaking point and are forced to reevaluate our priorities.
However, it is important to cultivate self-compassion through consistent & positive practices throughout our lives, rather than only relying on it during times of crisis or breakdown.
Understanding the importance of self-care goes beyond considering it a luxury. By paying attention to our body’s signals and learning how to manage our energy, reduce stress, maintain work-life balance, and nurture reciprocal relationships, we prioritise our own needs alongside our responsibilities to others.
Renewing vigour in the long-term is achieved by prioritising our own needs.
As we consistently prioritise self-care, one can experience a spiritual growth that enhances our
self-trust and worthiness.
Self-care goes beyond mere pampering and is essential for building meaningful and purposeful lives that can be sustained in the long run.
Engaging in self-care helps us reconnect with our inner rhythms and channel our talents outward.
We all have a natural inclination to rest, play, create, and just be.
When we prioritise our well-being with consistent effort, we gain confidence and positively impact those around us.
My self care routine apart from other things, revolves around reading my 25000 words a day & sharing my positive thoughts through my daily blog.
That is something that rejuvenates me & a positive response from a reader inspires me further to do my bit and continue on my journey to spread positivity & optimism.
Starting this Sunday, Take good care of yourself and make a positive impact on the world & stay blessed forever.
